I just got off the phone with a friend who calls himself a ‘funsultant.’
We were talking about the course on job hunting abroad that we’re launching in April. He got really fun and playful vibes from how I wrote about it.
Most material out there on job hunting is dead serious. Like, if you don’t get a job, your whole life is threatened, and so on. And when you approach job hunting from a place of fear, it compromises your job hunt, even if you have the skills and experience.
He nailed it.
I find job hunting super fun & exciting, like an adventure.
Job hunting to me means reconnecting w old friends, meeting new people, seeing what’s out there and what people are up to… And along the way, figuring out which adventure to go next for my career. 🥳
What could be more fun and exciting than that?
